How to obtain a Hawaii Reserves permit card

HR – Hawaii Reserves requires each person who participates in a hike or trail maintenance on their land to have a permit card. Only those with permit cards will be allowed to participate in events on Hawaii Reserves lands, which are members-only, due to the permit card requirement. Free permit cards are available from the HR office, 55-510 Kamehameha Hwy in Laie from 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.  Be sure to mark “Laie”, “Koloa”, and “Malaekahana”, which will cover all the hikes we do on their lands.
