Try your hand at trail-clearing

Would you like to try your hand at trail-clearing? On Sunday 3/22, we will be clearing Kulana’ahane in Moanalua Valley. There are 10 spots for new trail-clearers.

We’ll meet at 7:45 a.m. in Moanalua Valley Park for an instructional briefing. Then we’ll walk along an old carriage road to the trailhead; the road is quite scenic with numerous stone bridges. When we reach the Kulana’ahane trailhead, we’ll begin clearing. We’ll work until ~2 pm, and then we’ll hike out and have a pot-luck with the HTMC trailclearing crew.

Pre-registration is required, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All trail-clearers are required to sign a liability waiver. Details (such as what to wear and bring) will be provided to pre-registered participants.
