New HTMC Membership Officer

Aloha,

My name is Michael Cress, and I’m excited to be your new membership officer!  I joined HTMC in June of 2019 looking for a way to get into exploring Oahu.  Originally, I’m from Indiana.  I moved to Kailua in 1999 to start my graduate studies, which I finished in 2006 with a PhD in Communication and Information Science from UH Manoa.   My favorite hikes are the overnight camping trips, such as the President’s Day weekend trip in the Waianae mountains above Mokuleia.  I hope to see you on a hike soon.  Happy trails!
