Images from the KCBG Photo Walk

On December 17, 2024 HTMC offered a photo walk with HTMC member and photography teacher Hawkins Biggins through Kokocrater Botanical Garden inside Kohelepelepe, Maunalua, Oahu. On a beautiful cool crisp clear December sky morning, fifteen people gathered to explore the art of photography.

The group wound its way along the two mile loop through the cactus section to the Hawaiian Section and eventually onto the African section, finishing up in the palm section.  In the Hawaiian section the wiliwili trees were blooming, along with a few ‘Ohia lehua trees. Everyone was mesmerized by a vibrant orange native hibiscus from Kauai and the festival dangling red ‘Ilima.
