Holiday Luau 2023 Hike Trivia Quiz

This year was the second year that the Books & Records Committee, chaired by Blaise Smith, compiled the Hike Trivia Quiz. This quiz is a luau tradition that was started many luaus ago by renown HTMC Member Stuart M. Ball. It has been a highlight of every luau, not only because the prizes for the quiz have been awarded by Patagonia, but also because it tests our trail knowledge, club history and more.  This years quiz consisted of twenty questions and was deemed the most challenging yet! The HTMC Members who ranked in the top three this year were: Roeland (First Place), Talbert (Second Place), Hawkins (Third Place).

If you missed the opportunity to take the quiz (it happens upstairs at the luau), would like to give it another try or didn’t attend the luau and are curious to see the questions now is your chance! Although the online version will not be monitored, we encourage you to give it a go using only the information in your head! Quiz takers at the luau were not permitted to utilize an outside source to help with answers (no Googling or sharing answers was allowed).
