Get to Know HTMC’s Newest Members!
Did you know that HTMC has received 25 membership applications since April 2024? In an effort to get to know our new members a little better, the board has introduced a new initiative where new members have the opportunity to share a bit about themselves and be featured in a newsletter article. Starting in August Aiden (one of our membership officers) welcomes our new members with a request to fill out a questionnaire.

Originally from the Mid-West, move to Oahu 8 years ago to enjoy the great outdoors in warm weather.
What made you want to join HTMC?
To explore new hikes with like minded individuals.
How did you hear about the club?
Ran into a few folks on the Aiea Loop trail earlier this year and started up a conversation. My wife and I joined a few months later.
What’s an interesting fact about you?
My wife and I both love to hike! Are goal this year is to do at least one new hike a month.
What’s been your favorite hike you’ve ever been on (either with the club or on your own!)? In Hawaii or elsewhere?
The Kealia Trail by Dillingham Airfield and the other trails that link up to it
