Peter Young – Evolution of Hawaiian Trails

Nov 07, 2015

Although the canoe was a principal means of travel in ancient Hawai’i, extensive cross-country trail networks enabled gathering of food and water and harvesting of materials for shelter, clothing, medicine, religious observances and other necessities for survival. We’ll be taking a brief look at the evolution of the trails over time. Please bring a potluck dish to share. Guests and non-members are welcome with a $3 clubhouse donation fee. Please RSVP to entertainment@htmc1910.org.
