Hallowe’en at the Clubhouse
Spend Hallowe’en eve at the clubhouse for a night of spooky fun and community vibes. Come in costume (if you dare!), bring a trick or a treat to share, and settle in for a chilling movie with friends. We’ll also be handing out goodies to the brave souls wandering the Waimanalo streets in costumes search of candy and cheer—join us in spreading a little Halloween scare and magic!
Mahalo to our Books & Records Chair, Blaise Smith, for inspiring this event! While exploring our archives, she uncovered a wonderful piece of HTMC history—the very first “Entertainment Event” held after the clubhouse was completed in 1926 was, in fact, a Hallowe’en Party.
Below is a photo of the original article, with “Hallowe’en Party” highlighted in bold (in case it’s a bit tricky to read).
