5:00 PM Potluck, 6.30PM Presentation, Waimanalo Clubhouse
In August of 1991 travelers from throughout the world boarded the nuclear icebreaker, Sovetskiy Soyuz (Soviet Union), at the eastern tip of Russia, sailed north through the Bering Strait, and then headed west toward Europe. They were the first commercial passengers to attempt to sail the historic Northeast Passage. The film documents their journey.
