Auckland Tramping Club Welcome Event

Join us in welcoming the members of the Auckland Tramping Club (ATC – our sister club in New Zealand) to Hawai’i. HTMC will be hosting a group of Kiwi’s on Oahu as well as sharing an adventure together on the Big Island. The group will be staying at the clubhouse, so keep in mind that the clubhouse will be fully occupied.

Contribute to the “trail mix” activity. Along with bringing a potluck dish, bring a trail mix food item. We will provide the zip lock bags for everyone to create their own trail mix in. Add your item to the RSVP spreadsheet. Savory and sweet is always fun and perhaps something local to share the unique taste of Hawai’i. Get creative & have fun; Ideas include:

Sweet: Dried fruit, banana chips, chocolate, M&M’s, peanut butter chips, assorted unwrapped candy (like gummy bears, Swedish fish), white chocolate chips, animal crackers, teddy grahams, etc

Savory: Nuts, seeds, pretzels, popcorn, cereal (like Chex), mini rice cakes, goldfish, bugles, Fritos, crack seed, li hing, etc

5:30pm Potluck – Give the Kiwi’s a taste of Hawai’i and bring something special to the potluck!

7pm ATC Presentation – The Kiwi’s plan to share images of past ATC/HTMC trips showcasing the experiences, people and places. Come to this event to learn more about our sister club in New Zealand. To learn more about the ATC visit their website.
