100 Years in Waimanalo

Join the Books and Records Committee chair Blaise Smith, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the purchase of HTMC’s Waimanalo property.  Blaise’s presentation will include historical photos, anecdotes from past club members, information on the purchase of the Waimanalo lots (in 1925 and 1941), and the subsequent building of the Clubhouse by members in 1926.

Blaise Smith is an HTMC Member and has been the Books and Records Committee Chair since 2023. She lives on the windward side and loves to paddle and hike.

The HTMC clubhouse is located in a residential area, a block from Waimanalo beach at 41-023 Puuone Street, Waimanalo, Hawaii 96795.

*Michael Tanenbaum will be performing. He is a composer/guitarist of contemplative instrumental music in the style of “Celtic Slack Key”. He creates visual guitar tapestries inspired by film music, Celtic melodies and the power of the land, light and ocean waters of the Hawaiian islands.
