Wilderness Survival Basics & Gear Exchange

Join HTMC member Sara Kunz and as she shares basic survival skills (no gear needed), and more importantly- how to recognize you’re in a situation that requires them.
Sara guides people on playful adventures that build unshakable resilience and joy. She’s best known for her two Naked and Afraid Challenges on the Discovery Channel but is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher, pursuing her degree to become a licensed therapist. She is deeply passionate about helping people connect to their inner badass without sacrificing their sweetness or sense of play.
When she’s off trail, you can find her giving keynote speeches on resilience or guiding small groups and individuals to conquer the wilderness within and outdoors. (If we’re being honest, you’ll also find her on a couch eating Cheetos & watching Star Trek)
