Directions

Trailhead descends to Nuuanu Stream. Cross stream into bamboo grove, follow trail to the right and ascend to Norfolk Island tree grove. Trail follows right hand side of open area, past jackass Ginger Pool (to the right below), curves left through Hau bush and slowly ascends to a second Norfolk Island Pine grove. This point is the terminus of the Nuuanu Trail from the ridge slope above. Continue left (clockwise) and cross rivulet, follow trail through open area back to the first Norfolk Island Pine grove. Turn right and return downhill to the stream and trailhead.

Hazards

Be cautious of potential infections caused by Giardia and Leptospirosis. Do not swim if you have an open wound or cut.
