Peg’s Special Celebration
Peg Foster (Peggy to some), a member since 2006, celebrated her 95th Birthday in October.
Peg has been an inspiration to so many of us at HTMC. Not only is she still hiking up and down our trails, but she is still walking up and down 13 flights of stairs everyday at least 3 times a day. She gives herself permission to ride the elevator when she comes back from a hike!
Peg was born and raised on Kauai, went to Punahou for high school, left the islands when she was 18 and came back when she was 75 years old and immediately joined HTMC. When you see her, she will happily tell you about her amazing mountaineering summits and trips.
