Moanalua Management Plan Update: 9/18 Open House & Submit Comments

The State Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) is hosting a public open house meeting to present the draft management plan for the Honolulu Watershed Forest Reserve Moanalua Section.

Date: Thursday, September 18, 2025 / 6:00 to 7:30pm

Place: Moanalua Middle School Cafeteria / 1289 Mahiole Street / Honolulu, HI 96819

All forest reserve users, nearby residents and interested community members are encouraged to drop in at your convenience to learn about the Moanalua Section of the forest reserve and the proposed management strategies. State DOFAW staff and the planning consultant will be available to answer questions and listen to your concerns.

Visit www.MoanaluaManagementPlan.com to download an electronic copy of the draft plan and submit comments. Comments on the draft plan are being accepted through October 31, 2025.
