Join the Investment Committee

Aloha to all HTMC Members, the 2024 Board of Directors would like to reestablish an Investment Committee that would help shepherd the investments and strategies that the endowment monies are held in for the club.  We are excited to extend an invitation to you to join this reestablished Investment Committee.

We are committed to furthering our mission and maximizing our impact. And we believe that prudent financial management is essential to achieving our goals and ensuring the sustainability of our organization. Committee members will collaborate and may develop investment policies, assess investment opportunities, monitor performance, and provide guidance to the Board of Directors on investment matters.

For example, the 2023 Board decided to invest some cash balances in High Yield 5% CD’s.

We are seeking individuals with a passion for our mission and knowledge in finance, investments, or related fields to join the Investment Committee. Your knowledge, insights, and dedication will be invaluable in helping us make informed decisions that support our long-term success.

Once a list of interested persons is established I will host an informational meeting to see how the committee wants to move forward and we can draft committee responsibilities and expectations, under the Board’s direction.
