Join OSAR’s Race for Rescue on October 25th

Oahu Search And Rescue (OSAR) will be holding its annual 5K fundraising run on October 25th in Hawaii Kai. The Race for Rescue is OSAR’s biggest fundraising event of the year. By running this race, you help to support OSAR in providing needed hiking safety education, as well as search and rescue services to the community! This year, like in the past, we will be offering an in person 5K option, as well as a Virtual 5K option. The entry fee is $35 plus registration fees.

The in person 5K run (or walk… that’s totally ok too!) will be held at our famous OSAR Proving Grounds in Hawaii Kai. The race starts and finishes near the intersection of Kamilo Street and Hawaii Kai Drive, with the course exploring the stunning Kamilo’nui Valley.  An aid station with water and snacks will be located at the turn around point (2.5K in).
