Hike for Hope 2026, sponsored by the AFSP

This May, The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Hawaii Chapter, is promoting hiking and exercise, self-care, enjoying nature, and building community with their virtual *Construction* Hike for Hope. Everyone can participate in hikes anywhere, anytime, all month long. AFSP has a special focus on construction workers, who have the highest rates of suicide among the professions in the US.

This in-person, family-friendly O’ahu Hike is on Sunday, May 02, 2026 at 9:30 am at Aiea Loop Trail (top of the trail). It is a free event.
