Waimano Loop

4 miles / Intermediate / Ridge, Valley / Pearl City

We’ll follow the lower Waimano trail continuing along above the stream to a small bamboo grove with an option to take a side trail down to the stream. From there, it’s a short, steep climb up to the upper Waimano trail, which we take back to the trailhead. The main loop trail has several narrow, rocky areas with two short rope sections.
A $5 donation is requested for each non-member, age 18 or over.

Elevation Gain: 700 ft.

Trail Conditions: Contour trail, narrow sections with steep drop off, rope sections, beware of the invasive vines from the cat’s claw along the trail, can be muddy and slippery when wet.

Trail Features: Valley and stream, large mango trees.

Trail Route: Loop

Native Plants: lama, ala ala wai nui, uhaloha.
