Manana Shelter

4 miles / Novice / Ridge / Pacific Palisades

This relatively easy hike offers magnificent views of both the Ko’olau and the Wai’anae Ranges. Most of the trail is wide, except for a few eroded sections near old landslides. About a mile in, you start to see native plants, including a few Iliahi (sandalwood) trees.

The designated hike is to the Shelter and back. This is about a 4-5 hr hike or shorter depending on how often you stop to admire the view and plants. If you wish to hike past the Shelter, please join the HTMC Hike on June 8th, 2025.

A $5 donation is requested for each non-member, age 18 or over.
