5.1 miles / Intermediate / Hillside / Kaneohe

Follow in the footsteps of mountain man, HTMC member Dick Davis, who built this trail in the 1960s. The route begins by going under the H3 Freeway and hugs the base of the Ko’olau cliffs to reach the Likeke Waterfall before returning through Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens.*

A $5 donation is requested for each non-member, age 18 or over.

Elevation Gain: 2,257 feet.

Trail Conditions: slippery uneven surfaces and mosquitos.

Trail Features: peekaboo windward views, waterfall and swimming, and a portion of a historic carriageway.

Trail Route: lollipop loop.

Native Flora & Fauna: papala kepau tree and o’hia.

Moku & Ahupua’a: Ko’olaupoko & Kane’ohe.

Hawaiian Name & Meaning: Likeke = Richard.
