Kathy Doering presents day hiking in the Cleveland National Forest at Mt. Laguna California, which includes sections of the Pacific Crest Trail and Mt. Laguna Meadows. Mt. Laguna is at the crest of the Cuyamaca Mountains at 6000 ft. bordering the Anza-Borrego Desert. The desert is viewed from the Burnt Rancheria Trail. This area has one of the most significant chaparral plant ecosystems in the world. Bring a potluck dish. Guests pay a $3 clubhouse use fee. RSVP to Entertainment@htmc1910.org.
