Bowman is perhaps the toughest of the Ko’olau ridge trails. The hike starts with a steep climb out of Kalihi Valley and ends with a steep climb up an old volcanic cone. In between is a long, sometimes narrow, up-and-down ridge. Coordinator Barb Bruno, barb@htmc1910.org (preferred) or 949-0788.
