Introduction of John Dobson by Barry Peckham and how he changed cosmic perceptions for regular folks. Also, what sorts of things you and the ancients can do to enhance your experience of the night sky. Telescope viewing and laser pointing to follow (outdoors) using one of Hawaii’s largest portable telescopes (8 feet tall).
