Interesting sights along this trail include stonework for a railroad, military bunkers, a blow hole, sea caves, coastal ‘iliahi and other native plants, shore birds, and with luck, monk seals. The sun on the west side can be brutal, so bring sunscreen and 3 liters of water, along with a flashlight to explore caves and tunnels. Coordinator Steve Rohrmayr, 696-4746.
