Bowman
Oct 16 Sun 8AM MEMBERS ONLY BOWMAN
(8.4 Mi*/Advanced/Ridge/Kalihi)
Bowman is perhaps the toughest of the Ko’olau ridge trails. The hike starts with a steep climb out of Kalihi Valley and ends with a steep climb up an old volcanic cone. In between is a long, sometimes narrow, up-and-down ridge. We hope to take a different (shorter, steeper) trail this year, provided the trail maintenance crew can clear it sufficiently, so email coordinator for rendezvous location after Oct 2. Coordinator Barb Bruno, barb@htmc1910.org (preferred) or 366-9499.
