This pleasant valley hike begins on the dirt carriage road of the former Damon Estate (2 miles), then enters shady native forest. There are numerous stream crossings (27), then a STEEP climb to the Ko’olau Summit, overlooking Haiku Valley. Return the same way. Coordinator Mike Algiers, ph 422-1048.
