Get to Know HTMC’s Newest Members!

Did you know that HTMC has received 25 membership applications since April 2024? In an effort to get to know our new members a little better, the board has introduced a new initiative where new members have the opportunity to share a bit about themselves and be featured in a newsletter article. Starting in August Aiden (one of our membership officers) welcomes our new members with a request to fill out a questionnaire.

Tell us something about your background.
I’ve lived in Hawaii for 22 years but only really started hiking during the pandemic.

What made you want to join HTMC?
The members-only hikes.

How did you hear about the club?
Hiking buddy

What’s an interesting fact about you?
I’m an orthopedic/sports physical therapist. Most people find that interesting.

What’s been your favorite hike you’ve ever been on (either with the club or on your own!)? In Hawaii or elsewhere?

They are all so different, it’s hard to say. I do remember really enjoying Mt Olympus.

What are you most excited about since joining HTMC?
The upcoming monthly member activity at the clubhouse and the fundraiser/remembrance of Nate Yuen all sound super interesting. Can’t wait to attend.
