Mo’o Kapu O Haloa Circuit

After a brief road walk, we enter a system of trails, some of which are fairly rugged, and eventually reach the road that leads up to the trail to the saddle between Hakipu”u and Ka’a’awa. This is our highest point. We then descend a rough, muddy trail to the roads in Ka’a’awa Valley which we will follow to the bunker at the end of the ridge where there is an exhibit of the movies that have been shot on the Ranch. The road then takes us back to the parking lot. Note that we do NOT park in the visitors lot.
